Liquid Perimter Treatment:
Why do you need termite treatment in Madison County? Your home is one of your biggest investments. Settling for anything less than the best is not an option. A top shelf termiticide will be applied around the foundation walls of your home to create a continuous barrier. The application method is called “trenching” or “trench and treat,”. Some homes will require drilling in certain areas. Many times these areas are air conditioner concrete pads or a concrete patio area. Not all patio areas will require drilling. Drilling and trenching are very common for this type of treatment. Ultimately, we will establish a consistent barrier of termite chemical around the foundation of your home for maximum protection.
How Does it Work?
Termites will attempt to tunnel up the foundation to enter home through a weephole. Sometimes termites can enter the home through a small crevice in the foundation below the soil grade. Once the termite chemical is applied it begins to work. Because our termiticides are non-repellants, the termites will move through the treated soil unaware sharing it with the colony.
Termite Treatment in Madison County | How Long Does It Take?
When termites begin to move through the treated soil, the termite chemical begins to expose the social behavior of the insect. The termites will carry the product back to the colony thus infecting the whole nest. Depending upon the size of the colony, it could take several months for complete eradication. Within two weeks the termite chewing mouth parts (mantables) become inoperable and the damage ceases. They will continue to move through the treated soil and eradication will occur.
